LN-518N Timing Advance Processor
Timing advance processors (TAP) are electronic control components that adjust the engine's original spark advance when the car operates on CNG/LPG, allowing it to operate more efficiently with these fuels.
The TAPs allows for selection of the degrees of spark advance delivered as well as the exclusion of spark advance when the engine is idling. When running on gasoline, they also reset the initial degrees of spark advance.
The TAPS has an emergency connector that cuts it off if there is a problem with the timing advance processor, allowing the car to continue to run normally. To avoid having to operate on the vehicle's original electrical system, certain timing advance processors are equipped with bespoke harnesses designed to interact with the vehicle's original connectors.
